[DR] Dream High Teaser

First of all, the teaser [I'm talking about the long one] looks great.

It basically introduces all of the important chaacters and hints at their future relationships.

Based on the teaser, it looks like it takes place at Kirin Art School. Main character girl is played by Suzy (Miss A) and main character guy is played by [already forgot his name, but he's from Will It Snow For Christmas]. Second guy is Taec (2PM), who seems kind of bad boy type but at the same time nice guy type...well, he just looks "cool". Then there's Eunjung [from T-Ara I believe] who looks like she's friends with Suzy but her charcater will definitely go through changes. There's also Wooyoung (2PM) who happens to be [somewhat] a foreigner...with ATTITUDE [still cute though]. Lastly, there's IU who struggles in the appearance department [not in real life, in the drama].

My only concern with this drama is the main character guy. Can you imagine how left out he must feel since he's the only non-idol? However, I've seen Will It Snow For Christmas, and I definitely do NOT doubt his acting skills. In fact, since he's more on the acting side, the other "idols" are the ones who should look up to him for a few pointers.

I do look forward to seeing how they all pull off their chracters.

And, since this is co-produced by JYP [the man himself], did anyone notice the JYP-ish pictures hidden in the background?

*** I can only identify 2, of which are wonder girls, and their rapper Yoobin [boxed in red, kind of hard to see, sorry -_-]. ;)

[MV-RANT] MBLAQ - Cry

MBLAQ - Cry

First of all, the song is relatively new and takes a litle getting used to before you can see "goodness" of it. It's a slow song compared to most of MBLAQ's other title tracks. And I thought the song really fit Rain's style. It reminded me of Love Song but there's one part that really catches my attention. And that's when G.O. sings "I'm so crazy". It just sounds so good.

Luckily, even though most slow songs take a while to sound catchy, this song has a really good beat and and the mv does a good job of bringing out the changes in the boys since the last time we saw them.

In the mv, Joon was the one who caught my attention most [even though it seems like I saw G.O. a billion times]. His face was so flawless! His skin was near-perfect. Anyways, Mir looked really mature [apart from his actual personality]. Actually, maybe because this song was balladish, it showed the boys being a bit more mature...for once, no one was ripping off their shirt.

The dance moves also look pretty different from MBLAQ's usual style...they still look like they can only be done by MBLAQ but it's not your usual girly (bear with me, I'm lacking in my vocab. department) moves made by JYP's prodigy. ;)

The lyrics actually sound really good. Some parts are over repetitve but that's K-pop for you. ;)

My only complaint is the way they shot the mv. Some parts look kind of sloppy...or the angle makes it look awkward. -_-

[RR] Jay Park vs. JYP

Recently, many articles regarding JYP's appearance on Win Win and his conversation Jay Park have resurfaced the internet, yet again. -_-

WHY?! Because of the same people that got Jay to leave 2PM in the first place.

What is this all about?
Apparently, fans netizens are, once again, putting some crap load of blame on JYP again.
WHY?! Nobody freakin' knows!

And, not only that, but now Sidus HQ (Jay's current company) has put in their own opinion on the issue.

So when exactly did JYP appear on this show that it is creating such a ruckus now?
Apparently it was yesterday -_- (or today since I live in the US)

Ironically, he also talked about AJ (Kikwang of B2ST) not making a debut under JYP. Personally, I think JYP is proud of all his artists regardless where they are now. That includes Rain, former G.O.D. members, Hyuna (WG/4Minute), & Doojoon (B2ST). And most of all, i think he's even proud of Jay, whether its based on Jay's talent and undieing determination or just his own pride of having raised him.

Recently, I've been wondering how that JYP Christmas album would've turned out had Jay still been a part of JYPE. Would he have been one of the original members?

[I think he would've fit perfectly behind Sunye and Min, don't you?]

People tend to forget that it's because of JYP that Jay is where he is right now, even though it's also because of JYP that he's not a 2PM member anymore.
And it's these same (curse word adjective) netizens that are the reason that Jay left in the first place.
Some people really need to learn to let it go!

[DR] Secret Garden ~ Episodes 7-10

Finally getting a chance to catch up on SG. :)

So obviously, by this point, Joo won's Claustrophobia is pretty evident.

So they're back from Jeju and Joo won's Mom is a (fill in the blank). But on the bright side, Joo won is finally happy that they switced bodies so he could take his mom's harsh words. Aww...he's protecting Ra Im, but she tells him that his words have been harsher. However, he keeps saying that she never "thinks" about him...I'm assuming he's talking about his status/position.

The magical veil is actually kind of confusing to me. I mean, it's good that we get to see how they would look in their own bodies every once in a while, but I think it would be better to go back to the last scene and show how different they would've reacted.
I feel like Joo won's secretary is the biggest victim here. He has to endure Joowon's threats and then face a nice Ra Im.
And Byuntae Joo won's house code is his ideal body (36-24-34). And so sweet of Ra Im (in Joowon's body) to cook for Oska (this is her advantage in the body swap).
That Tae Ssun guy sure is a mystery (a cute mystery) that will later be solved by Seul after a scary Plaigerism scandal for poor Wooyoung (in which Seul has to suffer accusations as well).
*Which brings me to wonder, if Jaebeom (2PM) had played this role, how would it have turned out?

Now that Joo won and Ra Im have to adjust to living each other's life, they have to start going to work and interacing with "obstacles". Personally, I think Joo won (in Ra Im's body) acts funny around the other action school members but it was pretty low of him to use the swap to get rid of his "competition", in other words Ra Im's Director. The poor guy gets so confused when he recieves the nice text messages from Ra Im, since they still use their own phones, and of course when they switch back and Ra Im's clueless about his feelings. :(
It was pretty hilarious when Ra Im changed Joo won's signature, which becomes a big problem for Director Park (on whom Ra Im can "step on" as much as she wants as Joo won had given her permission) because he had just perfected Joo won's signature. What's more is that she made it really girly with a heart.

What's more hilarious is the situation that Ra Im puts Joowon's body in:

And the slight room swap mishap:
And I love how all four main characters in some way use some form of jealousy whether they're the ones doing it or being affcted by it.

And Joowon's sweet talk about wanting to have put more money into his taxes if he had known that it was raising Ra Im was his moment of sincerety. :)

Ahh, and then Joowon goes to meet his mother (in Ra Im's body), where he/she is offered money to leave "Joowon", which he accepts and spends all in the same day, but only after giving his mother a good taste of what is not Ra Im's character (in other words, acting classy instead of apoligizing like she would've).

Then he goes to meet his "doctor" (Lee) and asks her if she's been offered money before to which leads me to think that they must've had some sort of relationship. O_O And she also tells "Ra Im" that she should leave Joowon because he is incapable of protecting her...right to his face/soul.

On the other hand, Ra I'm (in Joowon's body) gets into a fight for which she/he gets arrested and then is told by Joo won (in Ra Im's body) that he isn't going to get "himself" out. Ironically as He walks out (into the rain), they happen to switch their bodies back! lol. Now he's locked himself in. And as punishment for earlier, Ra m also decides that Joowon shouldn't be let out...so she leaves.
After being bailed he goes o Ra Im's house expecting a reflection on her actions which ends with:
Since they haven't switched their phones back yet, Ra Im sees the pictures of her Joowon took from her locker. And Joo won sees the Oaska socks that Ra Im wore...on his feet. X] And finds out that she changed his house code to Woo Young's birthdate.
Then Oska's whole plaigerism thing happens and he goes to blame Seul but (only the viewers know this) it turns out that one of her workers accidently leaked his song.
And it turns out that Joowon's younger sister takes a liking to Ra Im's director and also spills the beans on her mother's plans and Joo won's previous actions.
Then, Ra Im goes to see Oska's performance, ends up on  date with him and tries to cheer him up:
The most memorable part was when Ra Im makes her Little Mermaid comment saying that unlike the girl, she's not in love with "him" TT_TT ... Joo Won is left speechless.

Episode 10 tries to show Ra Im and Joowon trying to put everything back in place. In other words, Ra Im goes back to being overly formal and practicing her butt off and Joowon goes back to being a rich jerk and thinking of Ra Im all day long. ;)

And does this kid keep getting hotter by the episode or what:
Joo won and Woo young act like little kids stealing each others toys but of course they must have benefits. Joowon, being his stubborn self keeps showing up at the action school...and:

[BTW, she looks so cute in that outfit ^^]
And then he tries be one of her kind (x]):
The funniest part of his tactics was when he was supposed to be shot down. He looked at everyone else lying down and then walks over to someone and lies down on top of the poor guy. -_-

After shooting, they all go out for a meal and drinks. And since Joowon is sitting in front of his rival, they decide to have a friendly competition of who can get drunk faster. and somehow end up at Ra Im's house. Where, in the morning, Wooyoung shows up to take her away, on another date:

I just might want to throw away my earlier assumption of Woo young not having any feelings whatsoever for Ra Im because he seems to be "fond" of her...but it's still a bit soon to tell.
Half way through the drama, only 10 episodes left! :(

Prepare to see Joowon be a son of jerk(face) in the next episode.

[DR] Secret Garden ~ Episodes 1-6

It's been a while since I've seen the first couple of episodes so I'll make this short.
Secret Garden had been a drama that I had anticipated since they first revealed the cast.

The beginning was very satisfying because it wasn't dragged and boring, but in fact, fast-paced and it got straight to the point.

It pretty much follows the basic plotline with a unique twist.
Boy meets girl, develops an "interest" in the girl, doesn't admit to liking the girl, and eventually faces 1 or 2 other "oponents". Btw, is it just me or would a Korean drama not run unless the boy is rich and the girl is...not rich? Oh and btw, the twisted part is the boy & girl switching bodies. ;)

I'm kind of unsatisfied with Philip Lee's role. I was impressed with his character in Legend, it kind of makes me sad that they gave him such a character in SG. :( I'm not saying he's unlikable, just that his character doesn't give justice to his acting.

And I'm also unsatisfied that the second guy, "Oska", has no interest in Ra Im (well not in "that" way). :(
But that's okay cause she has Hyunbin and he has Seul.

And I've realized that the funniest  part of this show, besides Hyunbin acting like a girl, was definitely Seul's english. :D And I love how Joo won is always trying to explain to everyone how expensive his tracksuit is.
